Booking Terms and conditions

All activities operated by Carsington Sports and Leisure Limited (CSL) are run entirely at the companies discretion. We reserve the right to cancel sessions at any time for safety reasons. CSL also reserve the right to cancel training sessions/activities due to extreme weather and/or insufficient interest. In these circumstances an alternative session will be offered or a full refund will be given. 
If you cancel any activity within the 14 day period prior to you booking the full fee will be lost. Any Booking alteration will incur a admin charge.  

Cycle hire deposit

You will be required to leave either a driving licence, passport, credit or debit card (in your name) for the duration of the hire period. The ID must display your signature. Your ID will be securely sealed into an envelope and locked away until your return.

Our staff will be unable to hire any bikes without one of the above deposits.

Cycle hire attachments 

* Child Seat Max Childs Weight 15kg, child must be able to sit up unsupported. Please note that this unit is only hired with our own cycles due to the bespoke mounting system. The child seats are fitted to 18" frame adult cycles (min inside leg 71cm)

**   Burley Piccolo Tag Along Unit Max Childs Weight 32kg, Min Inside Leg 45cm. Please note that this unit is only hired with our own cycles due to the bespoke mounting system.

***  Tow Buggies are suitable for 2 small children up to a collective weight of 25kg. Please note that this unit is only hired with our own cycles. Dogs must not be carried inside the buggies for any reason thank you, 

when hiring bikes please not that we can only offer a recovery support on site if you take the bikes off site you are fully responsible for the safe return of the bike. please note E-bikes are not permitted to be take off site. A reasonable Surcharges will be incurred in the event of damage or late return.

All water users

Must check in at reception before going a float,
there is no swimming permitted at any time, all users must stay with in the designated areas for there activity. 
No Pets are allowed in the water or on any craft 
When on the water all uses must wear a properly fitted lifejacket or a buoyancy aid,
All personal launchers must have Third Party Public Liability Insurance when launching your own craft
All watersports and Anglers need to make sure all kit is clean and dry prior to going a float and should be cleaned before leaving site to stop any spread of invasive species Check Clean Dry » NNSS (nonnativespecies.org)

Equipment Hire  

All equipment hire must be booked and paid for in full in advance. Please note that you must arrive in good time to be changed ready for your session time and must hold the relevant experience or certification for the equipment which you have booked. See equipment hire pages for more details.

Tuition & Taster Sessions

All tuition must be booked and paid for in advance, fees are non-refundable. 

If you do not attend your booked activity for any reason your full fee will be lost.

If you arrive late for your booking we will endeavour to fit you in to our schedule or catch up with the rest of your group. Where this is not possible or the activity has already begun your full booking fee will be lost.

Course Bookings

Any cancellation will attract a cancellation fee of £25 for each place booked, unless the fee originally paid was less than this value in which case the full course fee will be lost.

If you cancel any activity within the 14 day period prior to you booking the full fee will be lost.

If you cancel any Instructor Training within the 28 day period prior to you booking the full fee will be lost.

If you wish to transfer your booking to another date we will endeavour to accommodate this and transfer your course fee, however you will still be required to pay the cancellation fee of £25 from the original booking. (please note this is not available for bookings which fall within the 14 day period)

All courses offered at the centre are run to National Governing body guidelines and follow the syllabus laid out by them. Most courses have an element of assessment and where possible this is built into the course as continuous. However, to be awarded any certificates you must meet all of the criteria outlined in any syllabus. Where this is not possible for any reason the instructor will give advice on how best to meet the assessment level and you will be welcome to return to the centre to finish any elements not completed. This extra time will be charged at the usual tuition rate and is not covered in the course fee.

Gift Vouchers Purchases

Please note that all vouchers must be used by the expiry date stated on the voucher. Vouchers are non refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other goods.
