Carsington Sports and Leisure Ltd is a privately owned multi activity centre based at Carsington Reservoir in Derbyshire. The company operates a wide variety of outdoor activities including both water-based and land-based sports. Seasonal Instructor
We are looking for instructors to join our team from approx. April till end October.With everyday being a different adventure this role will bring its own unique challenges, as well as some great experiences on the water. Using your own skills and knowledge you will enhance and share your joy of outdoor activities to groups and individuals alike.
We have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and experienced activity instructors to join our activity team for the 2025 season, working on one of Derbyshire’s busiest public sites at the region’s largest multi activity facility.
We currently have vacancies for qualified seasonal instructors for the 2025 season. We require instructors with any of the following NGB qualifications:
- RYA Dinghy Sailing
- RYA Windsurfing
- RYA Powerboat
- RYA Wingsurfing
- BC Kayak
- BC Canoe
- BC SUP

Assistant Fishery / Activity Bosun
This is a great opportunity to join the team at Carsington sports and leisure getting to work on 740 acres of water. The Job role will be to support all areas of the business with the main focus on fishery and water safety, providing customers with a safe and adventurous experience. The role will consist of setting up fishing boats for our flyfishing customers and supporting the activities team prepare and issue watersports and cycling equipment and provide safety cover for all water users.
During quieter times you will be working on the preparation, repair and maintenance of the fishery facilities and watersports equipment. These duties may include, fishing boat repairs, engine boat checks and grounds keeping
Qualifications:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- RYA Powerboat level 2 is preferred
- First Aid qualified is preferred
- Game Angling Coach qualification useful but not mandatory
