Predator Fishing at Carsington Water.
Following the close of our trout season on Sun 3rd November 2024 we will be offering number of predator fishing days.
We ran a trial at the end for the 2023 season and had very positive feedback with respect of the perch fishing. A number of anglers caught perch of significant size. The Pike fishing was less responsive with a number of anglers having significant follows and takes from pike but nothing being actually brought to the boat for size comparison. .
The methods will be strictly Fly fishing or Lure fishing for pike & perch. There will be no option to us either 'live' or 'dead' bait.
(Please note that it is Predator fishing from a boat only at Carsington and NO other coarse fishing or any bank finishing is permitted)
